The fleet currently totals thirteen units: six panamax and handymax product/chemical tankers, two 1,200 TEU container vessels, one car carrier and four supramax bulk carrier.
With the purchase of the modern double hull tankers MT "MARE AMBASSADOR" in the end of December 2006, and the MT "MARE ACTION" in the beginning of January 2007, the Marenave Shipping Corporation did its first investments. The MT "MARE AMBASSADOR" and the MT "MARE ACTION" have deadweight of 37,300 tdw each. Both ships have been built on the Hyundai Mipo Dockyard Co. Ltd. in Ulsan/South Korea in 2005. They were bought from Interorient Navigation Co. Ltd. Cyprus.
The fleet expanded with two further units: the MT "MARE ATLANTIC" and the MT "MARE PACIFIC". These ships are Panamax double hull tankers with coated cargo tanks and a deadweight of 68,467 tdw each. They have been built on the Koyo Dockyard Co. Ltd in Japan in 2001 and were bought from the Latvian Shipping Company in Riga. The MT "MARE CARIBBEAN", the next new fleet entrant of the Marenave Schiffahrts AG, has been built on the Hyundai Mipo Dockyard Co. Ltd. In September 2007 the fleet expanded with two further units - the MS "CAPE FOX" and the MS "CAPE FRIO".
In March 2009, the Marenave-Fleet was supplemented by the car carrier MS "MARE BERLIN".
The fleet has been completed after delivery of a series of four supramax-bulk-carrier. The vessels have a deadweight capacity of 57,000 tdw, length of 189.99 mtrs, width of 32.26 mtrs, draft of 11.3 mtrs and a max speed of 14.2 knots.
